  1. I believe that the coolest technology I have ever seen off the top of my head currently would be xbox connect. I think this technology is so cool because it is wireless and you a sensor picks up your movements and displays it on the tv as if you were physically participating in that activity. Also, because connect and even for the nintendo wii, people can go through physical therapy by using this technology. I also love the iPhone as well.

  2. The coolest technology to me is the Ipad. Having many of the abilities of a computer and camera in a portable object is phenomenal. Also, it can be used for anything from entertainment to information seeking to communication to the teaching field. I think it would be so useful to have the Ipad when trying to organize class activities and for showing students how they are performing their skills. I think that the Ipad allows for faster and more effective teaching.

  3. The coolest form of technology that I have found would be the iPad2. I think that the uses in education as well as personal life make them by far one of the coolest things in technology today.

  4. The coolest technology I have seen is the Ipad. I think it is really cool because of the touch screen. I also like how it a hybrid between a laptop and my Ipod. The apps on the Ipad are really intresting and your imagination is alost your limit on the Ipad.

  5. The coolest technology that I have seen recently is UP by jawbone. If you are big into fitness and health it is a really cool tool. It helps you track what you eat, how active you are and it records what you do all day. It helps with your sleep cycle and records your sleep cycle. It is even water proof so you can wear it when you are doing laps in the pool or when you are in the shower so that you don't have to take it off. It alerts you when you haven't been active for a certain amount of time by vibrating. It is a really cool thing and I hope to purchase one soon!

  6. The coolest technology that I have ever seen is probably the Ipad. I love how many features it has and how it can keep you connected with people. The size is also perfect. I plan on getting one before I study abroad to have on the plane, for when I travel, and to keep in touch with my family. I know it will be efficient for what I need it for. And after I get back, the Ipad can be used across many disciplines in teaching and personal use.

  7. The coolest technology that I believe that I have had my hands on would have to be my Jawbone Up. I have never personally used one, but learning about it, what it can do and how it's used is amazing.
I think this is an excellent tool for someone who may have issues sleeping so they can track their sleeping habits. Also for someone who is wants to track every step they do for exercise purposes.

  8. The coolest technology I have ever used is the Nike Fuel Band, my Middle School Physical Education teacher just got one. When I was home I got to see it in action. It was really interesting and cool to me to see how something so small could be so interactive and informative. As soon as they are not sold out for longer than a day im ordering mine.

  9. The coolest technology that I have found would be the jaw bone up. I think that it is pretty neat how it can count how many hours of sleep and number of steps you have taken in one day. I also think that it is neat that you can plug it in to an iPhone or iPad and see your results for the day. It looks just like a bracelet and no one can hell that it is actually telling you how physically active you are in that day. The jaw bone up also shows you results that week and month. This techonolgy is very helpful to physical educators because your students could wear the band and you could have them plug it in and see how much they were physically active in that day.

  10. All aspect of technology is fascinating to me. The growing trend and frequency of use is on the rise. Currently, my favorite is the iPad. It personally fits every one of my needs, when it comes to education and personal use. Not only are the programs and apps ideal, the compact and sleek design of it makes it very easy to use it on the go or in a gymnasium/classroom. In addition, Apple is contributing to refining the masterpiece, very cool.

  11. The coolest technology that I have used would be the iPhone. Honestly, the opportunities are endless with this mobile device. The apps that are on the market are getting better and better each day. I use apps on a consistant basis. They truely do make my daily life a little bit easier.

  12. The coolest technology that I have experience with is the Kindle Fire. It's fairly similar to an iPad, just a lot cheaper. I use it daily for everything from social networking, e-mail, personal reading, textbook reading, games, listening to music, watching Netflix and so much more. It is neat to be so portable (smaller than an iPad) with so many fuctions. However, I just wish they made it 3G accessible rather than needing WiFi.

  13. Personally, I think the coolest form of technology right now is the iPad and iPhone. Having an iPad is great for everything you can possibly think of. It is a great way to find applications on lesson plans and other aspects needed for physical education. the iPhone is also a great way to communicate with people through video, text, and email.

  14. I believe that the coolest technology is the XBOX Kinect. I think it is really cool how it allows people to be physically active while playing video games rather than just sitting there. It's very cool how it picks up the person(s) movements that are playing it and relays it onto the screen so you can see it.

  15. I am going to have to say that the coolest technology I have seen would be Nike Plus Chip. For runners like myself, I think it is great that a chip can tell what pace you are going and how far you have ran. It allows a person to slect music that corresponds with with their run. It is really small and it is out of sight so it is not annoying like a watch might be. Also, it is easy to install.

  16. The coolest technology at this time has to be the Iphone with all the unique options you have with it. This technology has endless ways of interacting and getting stuff done. It takes and puts multiple devices in one such as an ipod, phone, web browser, note pad, clock and etc all into one.

  17. The coolest technology that I have come across is the Iphone. The things that you can do on the phone are just ridicoulous. You can track how many calories you can take in and also how many calories that you burn while you workout. The apps that people come out with are endless also. They can better your everydday life with them.

  18. The coolest technology that I have used was the Ipads in our tech pete class. I never had an Iphone or much experience with one so the first time I saw something similar to that was the Iphone. I thought it was really cool how you could use the internet, twitter, facebook, etc. I also thought it was really interesting that you could get news updates from TribLive. It was basically like using a really small and quick computer/cell phone.

  19. I love using technology and I would have to say it is a huge part of my life. Whether it is using my cell phone, computer, TV, stereo, I would say I always use technology. One of the coolest things that I have ever seen is an app that is on my iPhone called Heart Rate Caluculator or something. This app actually will calculate your heart rate by reading the collor of the inside of your finger with the camera. All you do is put your finger on the camera and it will read it. I thought that that was the coolest technology i ever used.

  20. The coolest techonology that I have seen would be the iCloud from Apple. I find it fascinating that no matter what device you are using from Apple, your information can be stored and retreived by another Apple device that you can use... and it does it all wirelessly. It is a great help to be able to safely back up all of your files in case of a corruption or lost files. However, I have not had hands on experience with this, I am sure that if I start using Apple products, I will find this to be a great use of their technology.

  21. Technology is constantly changing and being upgraded. The super computer Watson was amazing during it's performance on Jeopardy. I would say the Hubble space telescope defines this topic very well. It was launched way back in 1990 but has undergone several repairs and upgrades. This telescope has helped us see some of the many wonders in our universe.

  22. I have not really used many types of new technology yet but so far the coolest technology that I have used is the new iPads. They are very cool to play around with and I have used them in a few of my classes. By using them in the classroom or gym setting it helps keep the students interested and willing to learn. They get to play with the new technology too and they love that.

  24. It's so hard for me to try and think of one individual technlolgoy that I would consider my faborite because there is so many awesome gadgets being developed that can be used for different purposes! If I HAD to choose one though I would say it's the iPhone 4S. I currently have the 3G and get an upgrade in a month (so excited!), but a couple of my friends have this phone and the "siri" part of the phone is fascinating to me. The fact that people have developed a way that you can talk to a machine, and have that machine update you on daily things such as weather, what your plans are for that day, or even being able to speak and have siri translate your words into a text is just awesome!

  25. I would consider myself to be not very familiar with different types of technology. If I had to choose one I would have to say the new iPhones are an amazing gadget and they seem to continue to develop them even better as they progress. Not only is it a phone, but also has some many different types of Applications to choose from even ones related to health and fitness as well as hold music. As of now I have an Android smart phone but hope to get one of the iPhones soon because the opportunities are endless. I feel they are an all in one package and want to get one soon.

  26. I think the coolest technology has to be the Ipad. This device has many technological advances in one device. The Ipad can facetime someone across the world which would be awesome for relatives who live far from each other. When in class we got to see the Dragon Diction app, which could turn your spoken words into text. This is just amazing to me.

  27. I think the coolest technology that is out there is definitely the Ipad. It is just so versatile. There are so many applications that can be bought or downloaded for free. Any subject area has an app, from reading books, translating language to counting calories. You think of it and it is most likely an app. I know my uncle uses his Ipad for flying his personal plane, it has maps of routes and possible landing sites. Seriously, how cool is that! These can be taken virtually anywhere and be used by anyone. My cousin who is 7 can use an Ipad better than myself. Not only are the young good as using them, my grandma who is 70 can use one no problem. To have such a piece of technology that can be used by anyone, anytime for anything is extraordinary!
